ISLAMABAD, Sep 08 (APP): Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting, National Heritage and Culture Attaullah Tarar on Sunday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of former PTV News Director Current Affairs Athar Waqar Azeem.
In a condolence message, the minister in his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the family of the deceased said, he was deeply saddened to hear the news of Athar Waqar Azeem’s death. Athar Waqar Azeem’s services to Pakistan Television will always be remembered, he maintained.
“Athar Waqar Azim’s professional career spanning fifty years was a beacon of light future generations”, he said adding that the vacuum created by Athar Waqar Azeem’s death will never be filled.
He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss with fortitude.
